All these years TV and movies tricked me into thinking that medieval armour was heavy and uncomfortable.
Recently, Game of Thrones tricked me into believing that no matter how much armour you put on, someone strong enough wielding a sword will easily cut you in half.
In this video by the Musée National du Moyen-Âge in Paris, France, two men dress in 15th century armour and show that they don't lose much flexibility and that killing your opponent in battle required more than such mindless sword swipes.
Imagine all that noise in the battlefield though...
