European Monuments and Buildings by Night (time-lapse)

Luke Shepard, the creator of Nightvision describes it as:

"...a celebration of the brilliance and diversity of architecture found across Europe. Over the course of three months I journeyed with a friend through 36 cities in 21 countries with the ambition of capturing some of the greatest European structures in a new and unique way. Comprised of thousands of carefully taken photographs, strung together and stabilized in post-production, Nightvision aims to inspire appreciation for these man-made landmarks."

World War II In Europe (Day By Day As It Happened)

Tomorrow, October 28th, is the 73rd anniversary from the onset of the Greco-Italian war (part of World War II), so I thought I'd post this lovely video showing the day by day territorial changes occurring throughout Europe (as well as parts of Africa and the Middle East) during World War II.

I can't be sure there are no mistakes in this, but I'm pretty certain if there are, they are minor. 

It was created using MS Paint, so a lot of time and effort has gone into this.
