I admit I am not a big Formula 1 fan (I appreciate it, just not enough to follow it meticulously), but I found a couple of videos that are worth putting here.
First, the speed at which pit stops are made these days (compared to 1950) is pretty impressive.
Also, there has been a change in regulation concerning the engines between seasons 2013 and 2014. As a result, the sound/noise they make now isn't as... magestic, however it seems it was done in order to push engineers into making more fuel-efficient engines. Technology that could be transferred to... regular cars in the near future.
