Amazing Waterspout Footage from Greece

Amazing footage of a waterspout (tornado over water) caught in 2009 by a tourist at the beautiful beach of Egremni on the Greek island of Lefkada.

Video from a Greek second division football game between Veria and Levadiakos in 2010.

The players of Veria manage to hit the crossbar once and goal posts twice, before wasting the opportunity (they didn't pay for it in the end, as they won 1-0).





We've seen something similar previously in a game between AEK and Olympiakos in 2007.

Skilled Ferry Captain

This is a video from April 7th 2013, showing the very skilled captain of the ferry "Adamantios Korais", under quite bad weather conditions, coming into the port of the Greek island of Sikinos, unloading-loading, and leaving within 7.5 minutes.

Everybody waiting to board (especially the lady with the bags and coat) must have got drenched. And imagine the rest of the trip with the ship going up and down. Gives me nausea just thinking about it.

AEK Athens Hit the Bars Three Times...

This is from the Greek cup semi-final 2nd leg in 2005 (I think...).
It's AEK Athens vs Olympiakos, playing at the Olympic Stadium (OAKA) in Athens
(the same one where the 2007 Champions League final between Liverpool and AC Milan is going to be played).
If I remember correctly it ended 0-0 (no wonder).
Olympiakos advanced on aggregate.
